Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has made changes in timings of entry of students in the examination hall during class X, XII board exams 2019, reports Hindustan Dainik.
The students will now only be allowed to enter till the distribution of the question paper, that is, if papers are distributed at 10.15 am then students will be allowed to enter only till 10.15 am, not after that.
Previously, even if the students arrived 15 minutes after the question paper was distributed, they were easily allowed in the examination hall. In special circumstances, entry was allowed within next one hour, that is, till 11.30 am.
This time around CBSE has enabled students to check their exam centre’s location online in advance. Therefore, students will not face problems in finding their exam centre.
CBSE Patna city coordinator, Rajeev Rajan was quoted by the report as saying that most students face difficulties in finding examination centres and hence reach late, but due to online facility, students will not face this problem now.
Introducing ElectionsHQ + 50 Ground Reports Project
The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
