Elections 2019: BJP-Shiv Sena Take Early Lead On 29 Seats In Maharashtra; Congress-NCP Ahead In Five

As early morning counting begins across the country for ballots cast for the Lok Sabha elections, the BJP-Shiv Sena combine has emerged ahead with an early lead in 29 constituencies of Maharashtra, with the Congress-NCP alliance leading in five.

NCP chief Sharad Pawar’s daughter Supriya Sule is trailing from the Baramati constituency, with the BJP candidate Kanchan Rahul Kool having taken a lead in the constituency.

Actress-turned Congress candidate Urmila Matondkar has taken an early lead in the Mumbai North constituency. Shiv Sena’s Adsul Anandrao Vithoba is ahead by a margin of over 1,000 votes in the Amravati constituency.
