Video-on-Demand (VoD) Eros Now will resume streaming web series ‘Modi: Journey Of A Common Man’ from 23 May, reports Television Post. The streaming of the series was discontinued by the platform due to an order by the Election Commission of India (ECI) in the wake of general elections earlier.
“Modi: Journey Of A Common Man is streaming back on Eros Now. The original web series will further release two more episodes on 23 May in five different languages including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Gujarati on the Eros now app,” the platform said.
The web series based on Prime Narendra Modi’s life runs through his life from at the age of 12 to being a youth and becoming the Prime Minister of India. The ten-episode series was taken down considering the sensitivity of time and situation in April. The remaining episodes of the 10-part series will be streaming soon.
Introducing ElectionsHQ + 50 Ground Reports Project
The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
