Fearing Attack From India, Pakistan Scatters Its F-16s From Home Bases To Satellite Locations

The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has moved its F-16 fighter jets from their bases in Sargodha, Punjab, and Sindh to satellite locations in a scattered manner fearing possible strikes from India.
PAF, which is still wary of the Indian Air Force following the Balakot air strike, has taken this decision to avoid any major losses in one go in case of an Indian attack.
Pakistan has been on high alert ever since the Balakot air strike and had closed the majority of its air routes besides conducting blackouts drills in many cities. The Pakistani army has also pushed for a heavy deployment of tanks and armoured regiments along Sialkot region close to Jammu border, reports Zee News.
The PAF is also said to have continued its alertness near the Line of Control and the International border.
India on 26 February conducted air strikes on Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) training camp in Balakot with 12 Mirage 2000’s crossing into Pakistan territory to avenge the Pulwama attack which had martyred 44 CRPF personnel.
