Displaying trust in Indian Parliament's decision making and democratic principles, Russian Ambassador to India, Nikolay R Kudashev on Friday (17 January) said that he does not feel that there is a reason to travel to Kashmir as it is an internal matter of India, reports Asian News International (ANI).
When asked whether Ambassador Kudashev was planning to visit Kashmir Valley, he replied to mediapersons, "Your decisions, as far as Jammu and Kashmir are concerned, this is your internal matter belonging to the constitutional space of India."
The strong statement from Russian Ambassador in support of India's handling of the matters with respect to Kashmir Valley comes merely days after a delegation of 15 Ambassadors from a host of nations including the United States and Bangladesh had visited Kashmir Valley for a period of two days to see the efforts being made by the Government in the region.

The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
