AAP party’s Joint Secretary of Scheduled Caste, Rupesh Kumar Mehra has joined the BJP in the presence of Manoj Tiwari, Chief of BJP Delhi unit. Rupesh Kumar represents the Scheduled Caste supporters of AAP.
This move may come as a deciding factor as SC votes can sway results of the 35 seats of the Assembly Constituency.
BJP leaders welcomed the development as it can bring all the SC votes under the banner of the party and defeat the AAP, Congress parties from the Delhi State in the upcoming elections.
