Elon Musk owned automotive company Tesla is all set to roll out two new features this week which will keep electric cars safe and also pets, ANI reports.
The company has been repeatedly requested for a feature which would enable Tesla owners to watch over their parked cars when they are away, and in that interest, the California-based company has introduced the Sentry Mode.
According to Tesla’s official blog, the Sentry Mode will add an extra layer of protection to Tesla cars. The mode will continuously monitor the environment around the vehicle that is unattended.
For severe threats like carjacking, the mode will activate the alarm in the vehicle, increase the brightness of the centre display and play loud music to gain attention of people, and at the same time send an alert to the connected smartphone app of the owner.
The Dog Mode will ensure comfortable cabin temperature comfortable for pets and also display a message on the screen informing that the passerby is nearby and will not need to panic as the owner will be back soon.
Introducing ElectionsHQ + 50 Ground Reports Project
The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
