DTH operator Tata Sky has modified it annual flexi plan to provide instant benefits to new subscribers who wish to avail this plan, Dream DTH has reported.
Tata Sky which had launched the annual flexi plan under the new TRAI mandated tariff regime, had offered a one month free subscription for customers opting for this plan. Hence if a customer paid Rs 3,600 per year they would receive a cashback of Rs 300 which could be used to fund the thirteenth month of their plan.
This cashback was earlier credited to the customer’s account only by the end of the twelfth month. But Tata Sky has now announced that this one month cashback would be credited within 48 hours of availing this service.
Thus, this gives the option of allowing subscribers to use up the cashback credit for any other Tata Sky service as their core TV subscription would remain active for months to come.
This instant cashback though is only effective for subscribers who are planning on availing the flexi plan. For subscribers who have already availed it, the cashback will be credited only at the end of the month.
