Govt Will Provide Ease Of Doing Business, You Work To Provide Ease Of Living To People: PM Modi To IIT Delhi Students

Virtually addressing the 51st annual convocation of IIT-Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the country will secure the “ease of doing business” for its youth.

Similarly, the youngsters should utilize their innovations and work towards providing “ease of living” to the poorest of the poor. He stated that technology will play a major role in a very different world after the ongoing global pandemic, Economic Times reports.

Modi further stressed that Covid-19 emphasized on the fact the self-reliance is equally important to globalization. The Prime Minister encouraged the graduating students to make their innovations operate on a mass-scale. He also asked them to refrain from compromising on quality.

“India is fully committed to give its youth ease of doing business so that the youth through their innovation can bring about a change in the lives of crores of people of the country. The country will give you ease of doing business but you do one thing, through your expertise, experience, talent and innovation...ensure ease of living for the poorest of the poor citizens,” Modi spoke to the students through a video conference.

The leader affirmed that the last few years have shown the manner in which technology provides good governance that reaches the poor. He believed that it had reduced the scope of corruption and ensured efficiency in the last mile delivery of services.

Modi referred to the students as the prime ambassadors of ‘Brand India’ and declared, “Your work will give global recognition to our products. Your efforts will lead to swifter recognition of Indian products.”
