Have Been Practising Since Last Night, Can Make A Better Rafale, Says Congress MP Demanding Fighter Jet Contract

Congress MP Sunil Jakhar today (10 August) made a rather strange demand in the Lok Sabha. He said that he can create a better Rafale and that the fighter jet contract should be awarded to him instead, Economic Times has reported.
"Madam, I want permission to present the replica of the Rafale on the table of the House. Please permit that. I can make a better Rafale than (an industrialist) who has no experience in manufacturing one," Jakhar said addressing the house speaker.
"I have been practising it since last night," he added.
Jakhar also flaunted a paper replica of aircraft to display his prowess in the area.
The Congress has been demanding a probe into alleged irregularities in India’s Rafale deal with France and wants the formation of a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) to look into the deal. The party’s members had earlier resorted to sloganeering and had also entered the house’s well with placards of their demands.
After the ruckus, Congress MP and Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge declared that their was no quorum in the house and that the Congress would stage a walk-out as this was against the house’s values.
The Congress then walked out of the Lok Sabha.
