Hiring Grew By 9 Per Cent Year-On-Year Across Different Industries In November 2021: Report

The latest Monster Employment Index shows that hiring across different industries surged 9 per cent on a year-on-year (YoY) basis in November 2021, The Economic Times reports.
The report by the Quess company has indicated a successive jump over 8 per cent for the demand in hiring in the previous six months.
On the other hand, the job posting metric remained neutral in November compared to the preceding month.
The majority of the hiring demand came from the metro cities in November though the likes of Baroda and Coimbatore reflected positive sentiments as well.
Office automation investments have also enhanced, as the industry recorded a 21 per cent month-on-month growth with the back-to-office trends increasing actively.
Industries and sectors like telecom, printing/packaging, garments, textiles, gems and jewellery, petroleum, and travel and tourism grew positively for job postings monthly.
Even the online recruitment demand shot up in 20 of the 27 industries that the Monster Employment Index monitors.
Hiring activity has grown across multiple experience levels, including senior, mid-senior, and intermediate and entry-well jobs.
