'I Am A Star In Bengali Films, But As A BJP Worker, I Fear For My Life': BJP's Baranagar Candidate Parno Mittra

Well known actor from West Bengal Parno Mittra, who is Bharatiya Janata Party’s candidate from Baranagar in the ongoing Bengal Assembly election 2021, has said that she fears for her life as a worker of the party.
She told author and journalist Deep Haldar in an interview: "I am a star in Bengali films. But as a BJP worker, I fear for my life. I overcome that fear every day and step out to meet people as I want to realise Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of Sonar Bangla.”
He wrote on Twitter: "A day after @parnomittra told me in an interview that she fears for her life as a BJP candidate, her team is attacked. Even women not spared."
Mittra had spoken candidly to Haldar on the clash and attack on the CISF personnel.
She added in the interview that artists and intellectuals will be empowered by the BJP in Bengal once the party comes to power. "They will not have to live in fear as they do currently under Mamata Banerjee’s reign,” she added.
