In Big Goof-up, AAP Equates Kejriwal With Manipulative Murderer In Viral Twitter Meme

With Delhi Assembly elections just around the corner, both Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) has upped their ante and started rigorous campaign to come out on top.
Over the past several days, AAP has also tried to take a jibe at rival BJP through memes on social media. One such meme was posted by official twitter handle of AAP which has gone viral, though for the unintended reason.
The meme is a still from a movie called Baazigar in which Shahrukh Khan plays a role of antagonist while the man in the background is Siddharth Ray who plays the role of Inspector Karan.
Several twitter users pointed this information supposedly being skipped by AAP social media handler.
One user said, “Kejriwal is a murderer and Manoj Tiwari is an honest cop? Has BJP Delhi hacked this account?”
Even BJP came out with a response and said, “whoever is handling this account is writing Arvind Kejriwal’s political obituary. SRK was a manipulative villain in the movie who was plotting against Kajol & her family. He killed Kajol's sister.
And, in the end, he got killed for his sins. Same fate awaits Kejriwal in Delhi!”
The incident reminds one of the famous dialogue of the movie “Har kar jeetne wale ko Baazigar kahte hai” (one who is victorious even in defeat is called Baazigar). It seems that this time BJP has come out as Baazigar.
Notably, state assembly elections in the national capital Delhi will take place on 8 February, 2020, while the results will be declared on 11 February after the vote counting.
