‘India, China Committed To Complete Disengagement’: Army After Sino-India Military Talks

In a major development, Indian Army has announced that India and China remain committed to the objective of complete disengagement, reports India Today.
The announced was made following the Corps Commander-level talks in Ladakh on Wednesday (15 July). The army said, “India and China have been engaged in discussions through established military and diplomatic channels to address the prevailing situation along the LAC.”
“Commanders from PLA and Indian Army held a meeting at Chushul, on Indian side, for the fourth round of talks on 14 July,” added the Army.
The Army also asserted that the disengagement process at friction points in Ladakh area is "intricate" and requires constant verification.
Notably, the fourth round of talks between Commanders from China's People's Liberation Army PLA and Indian Army held meeting at Chushul on 14 July lasted nearly 15 hours.
The Indian side by led by Lt Gen Harinder Singh, the Commander of the Leh-based 14 Corps, while the China's delegation was headed by Major General Liu Lin, Commander of the South Xinjiang military region.
As per sources, Indian military conveyed a very clear message to the Chinese army asking it to follow all the protocols on border management to maintain peace and tranquillity between the two countries.
As per the report, the talks were very fruitful and the next phase of disengagement will begin in the next few days.
