India, Indonesia Sign Three Agreements, To Prioritise Defence And Security Ties

On 12 December, India and Indonesia signed three agreements following delegation-level talks headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and visiting Indonesian President Joko Widodo. External affairs ministry spokesperson Vikas Swarup tweeted:

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed on cooperation in the area of youth and sports. Another MoU was signed on cooperation in the area of standardisation. Prime Minister Modi said India and Indonesia have agreed to give top priority to their defence and security ties.
