India has proposed to host a meet of the National Security Advisors (NSA) on Afghanistan in Delhi around 11-12 November, reports Economic Times.
As per the sources, key stakeholders in the region, including Russia, China, and Pakistan, have been invited to the meet. The NSA of Pakistan, Moeed Yusuf, has received the invitation for the meet and if he attends the meet this will be his first visit to India in this capacity.
NSA Ajit Doval is expected to chair the conference that is being organised by National Security Council Secretariat.
At the same time, India will participate in the Moscow Format meeting on Afghanistan on 20 October which will bring Indian officials face to face with Taliban for first time since the formation of the interim government in the country.
Introducing ElectionsHQ + 50 Ground Reports Project
The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
