India To Be Showcased At World Government Summit In Dubai; Modi Keynote Speaker

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be a keynote speaker at a summit in the Dubai next month ( 11 to 13 February) where India’s emerging economic growth, knowledge skills and culture will be showcased, DeshGujarat reported.

India will be a guest country at the World Government Summit, said Minister of Cabinet Affairs and the Future Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi, with its high-level delegation forming a key part of UAE’s annual gathering, where 140 countries are expected to take part.

Highlighting India’s role in IT, space and digital revolution, and its ability to produce first-rate human capital around the world, the minister said, “We expect India to achieve a great economic and development momentum and be on par with the world’s top countries.”

The three-day summit will feature 120 key sessions and 150 speakers. Some of the highlights would include a forum on artificial intelligence, reports on future governments, bio technology, science, space and climate. Several international organisations will participate in the summit that will focus on government policies to increase happiness in societies.

Modi will address a community gathering of 2,000 people at Dubai Opera during the visit, and is expected to visit Oman and Palestine.
