Indian Meteorological Department: Tamil Nadu And Kerala Very Likely To Receive Heavy Rainfall In The Next 24 Hours

The Northeast Monsoon rainfall is going to hit south-east Peninsular India in next 48 hours, Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted, as reported by The New Indian Express.
Thunderstorm along with lightning and gusty winds are very likely to occur at secluded places over Tamil Nadu and Kerala in the next 24 hours. Rainstorm with lightning is very likely in isolated areas of south-east Vidarbha.
Various quarters in Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep in the past 24 hours have witnessed thundershowers
Dry weather prevailed in Assam, Meghalaya, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, waterfront Andhra Pradesh and beach front and south inside Karnataka .
The lowest minimum temperature of 11.0 degree Celsius was recorded at Alwar (east Rajasthan) while the highest maximum temperature of 38.8 degree Celsius was recorded at Barmer (west Rajasthan).
