The Indian Railways on Monday (11 May) posted the official time table of special trains which will begin operations from tomorrow (12 May), as the national rail carrier resumes services in a graded manner.
Here the a time table along with the list of stoppages.
The special train service will originate in major cities like New Delhi, Howrah, Mumbai Central, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Thiruvananthapuram, Agartala, Secunderabad, Bhubaneswar, Bilaspur, Dibrugarh and Rajendranagar.
The operating trains will cover key cities like Nagpur, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Patna, Bhopal, Surat, Ratlam, Jaipur, Ernakulam, Agra, Dhanbad, Gaya and many more.
The trains will only have AC 1st Class, AC 2 Tier and AC 3 Tier coaches and the fare will be equivalent to Rajdhani Express. A total of 30 trains in 15 pairs will be operated. These services shall be in addition to the Shramik special trains.
Only e-ticketing via IRCTC is allowed for these trains and only confirmed ticket holders will be allowed to board. RAC and waitlisted passengers will not be allowed on board. Passengers will be able to book the tickets up to 7 days in advance.
No catering charges shall be included in the fare. Provision for pre paid meal booking, e-catering shall be disabled. However, IRCTC shall make provision for limited eatables and packaged drinking water on payment basis.
Indian Railways has encouraged to carry their own food and drinking water. No linen, blankets and curtains shall be provided inside the train and passengers have been advised not to carry too much luggage. Vendor stalls on railway stations will remain closed.
