Indic Academy is hosting a talk by Dr Raj Vedam on ‘Distortions in Indian History’ this Saturday, 10 December, at the Academy’s office in HSR Layout, Bengaluru.
About Dr Raj Vedam
Dr Raj Vedam, a graduate of Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, and Oregon State University, Corvallis, is an electrical engineer by training with over 25 years of experience. He is also the author of several journal and conference papers and patents, and enjoys a range of intellectual pursuits.
Among the many hats he wears, Dr Vedam is an astronomer and mathematician with deep interest in the history of astronomy and mathematics. His special interests are in ancient prehistory and the spread of knowledge, arts, culture and philosophies across cultures.
Dr Vedam researches and critiques the narratives of civilisations and applies scientific methods to validate historical narratives. He is a founder-member of the think tank, Indian History Awareness Research, and Director of Arsha Vidya Satsanga.
