Iran Warns Against Efforts Of 'Third Parties' With 'Sinister Intentions' To Destabilise Its Ties With India

Asserting that India and Iran will not allow "third parties" to achieve their "sinister wishes", Iranian Embassy in New Delhi on Monday (8 March) warned against any efforts to destabilise the ties between New Delhi and Tehran, reports Times of India.
Iran's assertion comes amid speculations about the alleged role of Iranian agencies in the recent bomb attack outside the Israeli Embassy in New Delhi.
Issuing a statement, Iranian Embassy stated, "While respecting the honourable government and authorities of India in their endeavour to thoroughly investigate and probe into the abovementioned incident in order to identify the orchestrators of such actions and to bring them to justice, this embassy strongly repudiates any unsubstantiated allegations or irresponsible comments in this regard and considers them as steps towards realising the sinister intentions of the enemies of Iran- India relations."
The statement emphasised that Iranian authorities have always expressed their readiness to cooperate "with Indian friends in order to unravel the wicked intentions of the spoilers of bilateral relations."
Without naming Israel, the statement also added that Iran has itself been a victim of "terrorism waged by some terrorist governments and their agents".
