Islamic State Claims Terror Attack On Kabul Gurdwara That Killed 27 Sikhs Was Revenge for Kashmir

The Islamic State Khorasan (ISKP) has claimed responsibility for the terror attack on a Sikh place of worship in central Kabul in which at least 27 members of the Sikh community were killed on Wednesday.
Mina al Lami, a specialist on jihadist media at BBC Monitoring, shared a tweet about the group’s claim.
Mina al Lami also tweeted out that details on ISIS claim that the Kabul attack was revenge attack in response to the situation in Kashmir.
In a statement issued through its Amaq News Agency, it said that the attack was carried out as an act of revenge for Kashmiri Muslims without providing further details.
The IS also identified Kabul attacker, who massacred 27 Sikh worshippers inside a place of worship two days ago, as Abu Khalid Al-Hindi. The 'Al-Hindi' attached to the name suggests that the attacker could be from India.
According to reports, a suicide bomber detonated himself at the entrance of the gurdwara while three IS terrorists stormed the shrine in the Shorbazar area Wednesday morning. Around 150 people were worshipping in the Gurdwara at the time of the attack.
