Indian security forces on Wednesday (10 June) have eliminated three terrorists in a gun-battle that took place in Sugoo village in Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian district, Hindustan Times reported.
As per the report, the Army Police and the Central Reserved Police Force (CRPF) had received credible intelligence input about the presence of terrorists in the village. After which a joint operation was launched at around 1:30am in the night.
While more information regarding the operation is awaited, the J&K police said the terrorists were inside a house which was cordoned by the forces.
This week since Sunday, forces have already killed nine terrorists in three encounters in Shopian district.

The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
