In the latest development, the Karnataka government on Monday (26 April) decided to impose a 14-day lockdown across the state to curb the second wave of coronavirus pandemic.
The lockdown will start from tomorrow evening and last till 10 May. It might be extended by a week if the situation does not come under control, reports Times Now.
The decision was taken earlier today at the cabinet meeting in the state. Essential commodities will be available from 6 am to 10 am for the public.
Complete guidelines will be released shortly by the government.
