Telangana Chief Minister KCR.
Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao lambasted TDP and Congress vociferously on Wednesday (3 October) at the massive public meet held at Hyderabad.
Denigrating TDP President and AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Mr Rao called him as durmargudu (wicked person) and addamaina donga (cheap thief), alleging the transfer of the seven mandals of the Khammam district to AP as reported by TOI.
“If they (Congress) were so desperate, I would have conceded six seats to them. But was it justified to mortgage the interests of Telangana to Amaravati, the capital of Andhra Pradesh?”, calling them shameless, as reported by The Hindu.
KCR stated that the Congress was trying to stall development of the State by court cases and baseless allegations and urged the people of Telangana to thoroughly get rid of both the parties by casting their votes and blessings for TRS in elections.
Rao said that he dissolved the Assembly to provide a stable government, a move which he stated, left the Congress “breathless”.
Rao listed the achievements of his governments and stated the GDP of his State last year (19.83%), questioning, “Is it possible we are corrupt?” amidst resounding applause.
Not sparing the BJP, he made critical comments against its promise to offer ₹5,000 rent to tenant households.
