Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday (9 June) tested negative for Covid-19, ANI has reported.
Kejriwal's sample was sent for testing today morning a day after media reports stated that he had developed Covid-19 symptoms like fever and sore throat.
He had kept himself isolated at his home. Soon after Kejriwal complained of fever, all his meetings were cancelled since Sunday afternoon and he has also isolated himself at his home, said the source.
This development comes amid a spike in Covid-19 cases in Delhi and claims of the city's health infra falling short in combating the pandemic.
The Kejriwal led AAP government had earlier declared that Delhi's health infra would only be used to treat Delhiites. Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal had revoked the controversial order yesterday.

The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
