Arvind Kejriwal before getting slapped (Pic via Twitter)
A video has emerged which shows the man who slapped Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal attending an AAP even while also wearing the party’s Gandhian cap, Times Now has reported.
AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal had earlier denied claims that the attacker was its former party worker and had instead labelled him as a Modi Bhakt. This narrative though has been dented by the new revelation that he attended the party’s event in Delhi.
It was earlier reported that Kejriwal was slapped during a roadshow in the national capital’s Moti Nagar area on Saturday (4 May).
Kejriwal was seen happily waiving at the crowd amidst chanting supporters and suddenly a man in a red shirt leaped up in the air and swung his army by at least 120 degrees in full force to try and belt one on the Delhi Chief Minister.
Kejriwal though displayed great reflexes and managed to partially get out of the way, which meant that his left shoulder bore the biggest brunt of the assault.
