Kerala: Coronavirus Patient Who Resisted Treatment, Had Come In Contact With Over 1,000 People

A resident of Kerala’s Thrissur who recently tested positive for Coronavirus is believed to have come in contact with over 1,000 people as he visited shopping malls and movie theatres, Matrubhumi has reported.
The patient who travelled back from Italy had initially tried to hide his travel details and was later forcefully admitted to the hospital by health authorities. They are now expected to release a route map of the patient’s movements.
The health administration has currently kept over 100 people including Panchayat members under observation in the region.
The Kerala government had earlier released route maps of places visited by two coronavirus patients in Kottayam's Chengalam. The flowchart included all the places he had visited from 29 February to 8 March.
