Tinder has recently released a ‘swipe scoreboard’ that reveals city-wise hot-spots where the chances of finding a match are higher.
Based on data, Koramangala tops the chart in Bengaluru, where one gets ‘right swiped’ the most. It is followed by Whitefield, HSR Layout, Jayanagar, Kalyan Nagar, JP Nagar, Deccan Herald reported.
Tinder has released the data that has been crunched between the months of August and September this year across seven cities in India. The cities are Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Chennai, Pune and Hyderabad.
If one takes a closer look, the places where malls and shopping arcades are present have come out on top. The demographics is predominantly young, under the age of 35 and the neighbourhoods that have been listed are also relatively affluent.
Tinder’s main market lies in Asia and reportedly over 75 lakh swipes happen in a single day. According to previous data, women in India prefer men who occupy professions such as pilots, actors, entrepreneurs, marketing managers and creative writers. Men are reportedly more interested in engineers, accountants, dentists and doctors.
