Advocate Palwinder Singh approached the Punjab and Haryana High Court with a petition seeking an arrest warrant against Prince Harry alleging that he did not fulfil his ‘promise to marry’ her, reports India Today.

Advocate Singh sought the Duke of Sussex’s arrest so that ‘no further delay would occur in the marriage’.

The bench headed by Justice Arvind Singh Sangwan called it to be a day-dreamer’s fantasy and said that the petitioner fell prey to a fake conversation.

The court also lamented the poor drafting of the petition and said, “This Court finds no ground to entertain this petition and can only show its sympathy for the petitioner that she has believed such fake conversation to be true.”

The petitioner was reportedly sent e-mails through a forged e-mail ID with Prince Harry's name allegedly promising to marry the petitioner.

“It is a well-known fact that fake IDs are created on various social media sites like Facebook, Twitter etc... There is every possibility that so-called Prince Harry may be sitting in a Cyber Cafe of a village in Punjab,” the court added.

The advocate denied ever travelling to the UK and maintained that all of her mentioned conversations had taken place in social media itself.
