Father of the girl Amulya Leona who was caught on camera chanting Pakistan Zindabad at an anti-CAA event in Bengaluru, has expressed shock over her daughter’s actions and made a statement saying that he has no problem if his daughter is jailed, News18 has reported.

In the video that is making round on social media it can be seen that just as Owaisi was leaving the stage, the women started sloganeering "Pakistan zindabad".

However, it immediately caught attention of Owaisi who turned around and tried to take the microphone away from her. Afterwards, she was forced to leave the stage.

Soon after the incident Amulya was booked under sedition charges and has now been sent to a 14 days judicial custody. After interrogation she will be produced before a local court.

Her father who is a resident of Koppa in Karnataka’s Chickmagalur was quoted as saying, “Let my daughter rot in a jail. Let the police break her legs. I have no objection. She has caused so much misery to my family”.

The visibly upset father also said that he will not be aiding his daughter in fighting the sedition case.

Leona a 19-year-old girl is said to be an undergraduate student with “revolutionary ideas” who normally does not listen to anyone.
