Multinational technology company Microsoft will be hosting the annual Build Developer Conference at Seattle’s Washington State Convention Centre from 6 May to 8 May, the Economic Times reports.

The company will showcase the latest Windows versions alongside various other software and service tools like Office and Azure.

According to the Verge, the company will post the agenda of the event later in the month, and the registrations would be open from 27 February.

Further, the MNC is likely to talk on “Windows Lite”, a lighter version of the operating system (OS) for users who do not need the complete power of the desktop, the report noted.

Microsoft has also been preparing for Windows to work on a fold-able and dual-screen device, which is expected to be announced later this year and the three-day event will be an excellent opportunity to provide information on its development.

The Build event will, however, clash with the annual I/O Developer Conference of Google, which begins on 7 May and ends on 9 May in California’s Mountain View.
