MoU Inked For India-Brazil Agriculture Innovation Corridor To Foster Agri Entrepreneurship And Research

In a bid to encourage and promote deep science innovations the agriculture and allied industries in India and Brazil, the centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms (C-CAMP) and AgriHub of the Federation of Agriculture and Livestock of the State of Mato Grosso in Brazil (FAMATO) have reached an MoU reports The Hindu Business Line.
The MoU is proposed to create an Indo-Brazil Agriculture Innovation Corridor to foster links between both hubs and enhance collaboration in science-based entrepreneurship, research and businesses in the agriculture.
The MoU signed between Dr Taslimarif Saiyed, CEO and Director of C-CAMP, and Marcos da Rosa, Vice-President, Federation of Agriculture and Livestock of the state of Mato Grosso will be one of the first initiatives undertaken by C-CAMP under its Agri-Innovation Centre.
The corridor would build agriculture innovation collaborations and help innovations reach grassroot level as agriculture remains the backbone of both the economies said Dr Saiyed, CEO and Director, C-CAMP.
