The municipal body has now got into talks with Hyderabad-based Dr Reddy's Laboratories (DRL) to procure the supplies of Sputnik V vaccines from it.
BMC has said that DRL has indicated its readiness to supply some stocks to it on an experimental basis. The municipal body will be examining the cold chain requirements for the same upon confirmation from DRL regarding the supplies.
Meanwhile, it should be noted that the BMC has also asked DRL for larger supplies of Sputnik V in July and August. The discussions for the same will begin in the next 8-10 days.

The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
