The holy book unveiled by Prime Minister weighs over 800 kg and measures over 2.8 by 2 metres.

“With an artistic touch of 18 exquisite paintings and an innovative elegant layout, the book has been printed in Milan, Italy, on YUPO synthetic paper so as to make it untearable and waterproof,” the ISKCON said, as reported by Business Today.

The Prime Minister, addressing the gathering at the ISKCON - Glory of India Cultural Centre, said that the Bhagwad Gita is India’s most inspiring gift to the world. He said that Bhagwad Gita has been relevant for thousands of years and that it is a world heritage.
