Noida Metro: Residents Face Inconvenience Due To Lack Of Connectivity Between Aqua And Blue Line

The recently launched Aqua Line has left made many residents disappointed due to zero connectivity between it and the Blue line that connects Noida to Delhi, reports DNA India.
The Aqua line, also called the Noida-Greater Noida rail corridor shuttles between Sector 51 in Noida and the Depot Station in Greater Noida.
The problem lies when the commuters travelling to Delhi have to go to Noida City Centre, the nearest Metro station on Blue Line, which is almost seven kilometres away from Sector 51. Residents are ruing this unfeasible connectivity. Pawan Jha, a resident of Sector 135, says, “ "Why would I travel first on Aqua Line and then go to Noida City Centre to board another train? I might as well take the Blue Line straight away to travel to the national capital.
Another Noida resident Deepali Yadav says if the Noida Metro Rail Corporation doesn’t connect the Aqua and Blue Lines, it's not much use to people who live there.
The lack of last mile connectivity is also troubling many along with buying two different tickets. A Sector 93 resident, Ragini Kaushal says that she has to take a cab or auto to reach Noida City Centre. Another resident Sanjay Mishra says that its cumbersome for him to carry two cards, one of DMRC and another of NMRC.
The Metro line which has linked the twin-cities of Noida and Greater Noida in Gautam Buddh Nagar has 21 stations on the corridor.
