Now Trinamool Worker Hacked To Death In West Bengal

A Trinamool worker who was missing since yesterday (8 June) has been found dead in Howrah in West Bengal, ANI has reported.
Trinamool Congress (TMC) has alleged that the victim, Kartik Dhaki, was hacked to death by the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP). The BJP however, has rubbished the allegations.
"The BJP doesn't believe in violence unlike TMC and hence, no such acts happen during elections in BJP ruled states. If we were believers of violence, we wouldn't have been elected in 22-23 states of India. The TMC has turned West Bengal into Afghanistan murdering people throughout the state," said Debanjan Chatterjee of the BJP.
Claims and counter claims of violence were the norm during the panchayat polls in West Bengal. Even as the results were declared on 17 May, the violence hasn’t come to a stop.
Earlier, another TMC worker, Mohsin Khan was shot dead in Bagnan. His wife was among the winners of the panchayat polls. The latest incident takes the number of deaths in the last ten days to four, with two BJP workers having being killed earlier. BJP’s Trilochan Mahto and Dulal Kumar were found hanging in the state, and BJP had accused the ruling TMC for the deaths.
A case has been registered with the Bengal police who’re now investigating the incident.
