Odisha coronavirus update
The Covid-19 tally in Odisha saw the addition of 90 more cases raising the total number of positive cases in the state to 2,478, said the health department on Thursday (4 June).
As many as seven people have died in the state due to the Covid-19 so far.
With this, the active cases in the state stood at 1,053 while 1,416 persons have recovered from the disease so far.
Ganjam district has reported the highest 521 Covid-19 positive cases so far, followed by 290 infections in Jajpur, 195 in Khurdha, 179 in Balasore, 161 in Kendrapada,132 in Bhadrak, 131 in Cuttack, 102 in Balangir, 98 in Puri, 86 in Jagatsinghpur, 76 in Nayagarh, 74 in Sundargarh, 60 in Nuapada, 44 in Gajapati, 35 in Mayurbhanj, 34 in Boudh, 33 in Deogarh and 31 in Dhenkanal.
Other districts that have reported 30 or less cases include Keonjhar (30), Angul (30), Sonepur (25), Kandhamal (22), Kalahandi (22), Malkangiri (21), Sambalpur (16), Baragarh (12), Koraput (8), Jharsuguda (7), Nawarangpur (2) and Rayagada (1).
