The mob also broke the murti of Lord Shri Krishna (Pic Via Twitter)
In another attack on a worshipping place of the Hindu minority in Pakistan, an Islamist mob vandalised a Hindu temple in Pakistan's Sindh province on Monday (30 August) and broken a murti of Lord Krishna.
The temple was vandalised at the Warhya village in Sindh's Sanghar district during a religious function held to celebrate the Janmashtami - the birthday of Lord Krishna.
Recently, an Islamist mob had also partially burnt a temple in Bhong City in Punjab Province's Rahim Yaar Khan district and broken the murtis over there.
"One more Desecration of Temple in warhya village at sanghar Distt after Bhoong shareef incident . It is failure of state and all provincial Govts to protect non muslim worship places," Pakistan's National Commission for Minorities member Dr Jaipal Chhabria said in a tweet.
Meanwhile, commenting on the incident and the discrimination that the minority Hindus face in Pakistan, Pakistani rights activist Rahat Austin said, "In Pakistan even false allegation of blasphemy against Islam leads to mob lynching or death sentence but crimes against Non-Muslim Gods goes unpunished".
