Funeral procession of a Pakistan army officer.
Pakistan on Thursday claimed that alleged ceasefire violations by India have killed three including one of its Army officials deployed along the Line of Control (LoC), and injured seven others. Condemning the alleged violations, Pakistan Foreign Office spokesperson Nafees Zakaria said on Twitter that Indian attacks on Pakistani posts in Nezapir, Sabzkot and Kayani Sectors killed two civilians and a soldier.
This development comes after two Indian Army jawans were killed and six people, including three civilians, were injured as Pakistani troops pounded several villages and forward areas with mortars along the LoC on Wednesday. Pakistan Army’s Inter-Services Public Relations wing released a video of what it claimed were Indian posts along the LoC being blown up by Pakistani artillery fire.
