Pakistan Set For ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’, And No, It’s Not Imran Khan

Paving the way for the release of The Accidental Prime Minister in theatres of Pakistan, the country’s Censor board has cleared the movie featuring Anupam Kher in the role of former prime minister Manmohan Singh, Deccan Herald has reported.
Jayantilal Gada, producer of the movie, was cited in the report as saying that the film will release in Pakistan on 18 January.
"PEN Studios is happy to announce that our one-of-a-kind political film, The Accidental Prime Minister, has got a green signal from our neighbouring country, Pakistan. Pakistani moviegoers will be able to enjoy the film as it is set to release there,” Gada said in a statement.
The movie is based on a book of the same name written by Sanjaya Baru, who was the media adviser of Manmohan Singh. It was released in India on 11 January.
