Pakistan Trying To Revive Khalistani Militancy In Punjab By Pushing Weapons Into India: Intel

Latest intelligence reports emanating from Punjab given to the Union Home Ministry have raised incidents of weapons being pushed into India by Pakistan to aid Khalistani militants, reports News 18.
Senior officials of the home ministry are looking at intelligence reports and the probe into weapons smuggling has began.
After the arrest of two suspects in Ludhiana in November last year, a women who worked as a nurse and man who was driver in Dubai, it had emerged that large cache of weapons have been pushed into Haryana and Rajasthan.
They were tasked with the revival of terrorism in Punjab and had received funds. Investigations had also found links between the accused and foreign-based Khalistan separatists.
Pakistan for a long time has been trying to revive the Khalistani movement and are in constant touch with some senior members of Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) and Khalistan Zindabad Force (KZF) in Pakistan recently.
Indian intelligence is now trying to ascertain if Pakistan has set up any training camps for Khalistani operatives, who will be sent to India to carry out strikes.
Intelligence agencies are also trying to figure out the major routes of arms, drugs, foreign currency, human trafficking into India from Pakistan along the Punjab sector which can be used to infiltrate Khalistani militants into India.
