Passengers of a Delhi-Ludhiana flight have been quarantined after a 50-year-old Alliance Air employee has tested positive for coronavirus.

NDTV website has reported that the infected man, a resident of Delhi, works in Alliance Air. He was not on duty at the time of the trip and was travelling on a paid basis ticket. He was sent to an isolation centre.

Reports say that a passenger on a Chennai-Coimbatore IndiGo flight has tested positive for coronavirus. The crew has "been grounded" for 14 days and the company is trying to reach out to the passengers who had travelled on this flight.

India Today has reported that the passenger has been quarantined at ESI state medical facility at Coimbatore.
