Union minister Ravi Shankar Prasad today said that Prime Minister Modi had kept his word to avail the COVID vaccination to the COVID Warriors first.
“Modi ji had clearly said that our COVID warriors would be vaccinated first, and then us. To those who were questioning him, he has replied - I was waiting for my turn", he was quoted as saying by ANI.
The minister also informed that the ministers of the government would be availing the paid vaccination facility instead of the free government vaccination facility.
“We ministers have decided to avail paid vaccination facility,” he said.
He further added, “Today, when turn of people above 60 years came, PM was the first to lead from the front. I want to tell the Opposition that you will have enough opportunities to do politics in elections and otherwise, can we not unite in efforts against Corona?”
Introducing ElectionsHQ + 50 Ground Reports Project
The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
