PM Narendra Modi Shares Video Of Young Kids Explaining The Importance Of Social Distancing In Innovative Way

In a bid to raise awareness about social distancing norms in the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter to share a video of group of young children who can be seen explaining the importance of maintaining social distancing in a very innovative manner.

PM Modi tweeted that there is a great lesson from the children’s game to avoid the coronavirus pandemic.

In the video, a boy can be heard explaining that how one person can cause a chain of infections, if appropriate distancing is not maintained. He can be seen explaining this analogy using bricks which are lined vertically, with each brick corresponding to a person.

He then explains that if one brick falls, it would fall on another brick which in turn would hit another brick and so on, displaying ‘domino effect’.

Though this he explains that without proper social distancing norms, a covid-19 positive person would infect another person and this will entail a chain of infection leading to mass infections.

Later in the video, he removes one brick from the chain, and again starts the process. This time due to the removed brick, the chain stops signifying the importance of following the social distancing norms.

This is not the first time PM Modi has shared such video. Earlier, he shared a video of a young girl urging her father not to come home.

In the video the girl says, “Dear papa, I am not missing you, neither is mother. Don’t rush back home, there’s no need. Stay where you are. If you will step out then corona will win. We need to defeat corona. Isn’t it papa?"
