Barely a day after Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Bihar chief Nityanand Rai hinted that party workers chop off the hands and fingers of people criticising Prime Minister Narendra Modi, former chief minister Rabri Devi hit back at the BJP and said that there were many in Bihar who were ready to slit the throat of the Prime Minister and chop off his hands, reports India Today.
The statement was made at the national council meeting of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) where Lalu Prasad Yadav was declared its national president for the tenth time in a row.
Rabri’s statements come in at a time when her husband and her son Tejaswi are being investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for corruption. She also claimed that her family was being framed as part of a larger conspiracy.
