In a big relief for government job aspirants, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has again extended the last date of applying for Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) posts to 26 December.
In a notice [PDF] dated 19 December, the SSC announced that the last date for receiving online applications for the CHSL examination has been extended to 26 December till 11.30 PM.
The last date for online fee payment is 28 December and candidates can generate the offline challan till 30 December.
The SSC had earlier extended the last date for CHSL applications from 15 December to 19 December over many complaints by applicants who were facing difficulty due to server issues on the SSC website.
Many have complained that they are still unable to fill the form or complete the online payment due to server issues on the website which are said to be cropping up due to high traffic.
Aspirants have claimed that such server issues on the website are a regular occurrence and have urged SSC to find a lasting solution like improving the server capacity.
