Two robbers were arrested by the cops in Noida yesterday night (22 July) after they robbed a man of his phone and wallet but decided to come back and ask him his ATM pin, Press Trust of India has reported.
As per Central Noida DCP Harish Chander, the robbers first fled after stealing the man's phone and wallet which contained around Rs 3,200 in cash and his ATM card. After going some distance they came back, asked him his ATM Pin and then fled again.
He immediately reported the crime to the cops and the authorities then set up security barricades to nab the culprits.
They were eventually intercepted at a check point but opened fire at the cops and tried to flee. The cops then fired back and injured the duo before arresting them. They are now undergoing treatment at a local hospital.
