In a boost to India's space dreams, Russia will be transferring critical technology for the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO)'s much touted Gaganyaan project, along with other future space programmes, reports Economic Times.
Russia will also partner with india, and the joint collaborations include the facilitation of India's presence at the prestigious International Space Station (ISS).
The space agencies of the two nations have been constantly collaborating and have been in contact to finalise the details of the Gaganyaan Mission which is supposed to carry three Indian astronauts to space in the year 2022, which would mark 75 years of India's Independence.
One of the global pioneers in space technology, Russia has promised to provide all assistance for India's maiden human flight space mission. Earlier, Russia had also decided to train the Indian astronauts for the project.
