Sheila Dikshit To Hold Demonstration Outside Rahul’s Residence To Plead With Him To Not Resign As Congress Chief

Former Delhi chief minister and senior Congress leader Sheila Dikshit had said that she along with party workers will hold a demonstration outside Rahul Gandhi’s residence urging him to not resign from the post of party president.
According to a Hindustan Times report, the demonstration will begin at 4pm outside the Congress chief’s residence at Tughlak Lane in Delhi.
The CWC, however, unanimously rejected Gandhi’s offer to quit the party chief post. Several leaders met Gandhi to urge him to continue to lead the party but the 48-year-old party chief reportedly remains unfazed by their requests.
